Josefina Campos, Fender's Master Pickup Winder, lives up to all the hype. She is the go-to winder for Fender’s most exclusive Master Builds and Artist Series models. These Troposphere pickups capture that legendary, vintage Fender sound, delivering a perfectly balanced tone with sparkle, clarity, and rich warmth.

Custom Wiring Calibrated Set:

I’ve personally wired these pickups with a custom touch: Using 100% Fender parts, the same CTS pot used in FCS guitars. This one features a Master tone pot with a Half Blender Mod.

Half Blender Mod:

Half blender pot: The second tone knob; mixes in the neck pickup only in switch positions 1 and 2. Full clockwise: no neck pickup (pure bridge or bridge+middle). Counterclockwise: gradually blends the neck for neck+bridge (Telecaster-like) or all three pickups. Positions 3–5 work as standard Strat switching, unaffected by the blender.

These pickups excel in everything from glassy cleans to dynamic overdrive. Whether you're channeling classic Strat tones or crafting your own signature sound, this set is a serious upgrade.

Resistance Readings:

• Neck: 5.46 ohms
• Middle: 5.59 ohms
• Bridge: 5.39 ohms

I personally wired this set with the upmost attention to detail; using the same CTS Audio 10% Taper pots used by FCS, mounted to an American Vintage mint green pickguard with FCS covers and knobs.
