The Danelectro DE-1 Dan Echo is a 1990s digital delay pedal designed to emulate vintage tape echoes, featuring a "Hi-Cut" tone control, and up to 1.5 seconds of delay time and allows for both short/long delay times.
The Dan-Echo provides Tape Emulation via the "Hi-Cut" knob that enables the repeats to become darker and more muted with each iteration, simulating magnetic tape. The Dan-Echo is capable of quick slapback echo to long, ambient soundscapes.
