Wonderful 1952 Martin 00018 that I’ve decided to part ways with to fund a bigger project.
1952 original as far as we know. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Old Growth mahogany back and sides. 50's mystery top. Person who sold it to me believed it was adi but very hard to tell with these. Tight and straight gained regardless.
This guitar has clearly been played a lot over the years and has had a bunch of repairs. Couple side crack repairs. Cosmetically not the best job but all very stable.
Fixed top crack, cleated and stable. Action is low, playable and there is nut left.
00018 are often cited as being one of the best recording guitars of all time as they’re in incredibly balanced, focused and sit in a mix well with little processing.
Last played by myself at the Brit awards. see attached video for ref.
These originals don’t often come up for sale so please message if any questions.
Cheers!
Joff
