Gibson part number 80087 (chrome) . (B-249) As used in the early 1980s on the Gibson Explorer, E2, Victory MV2 and MV10. and others. This very cleverly designed bridge had a number of very useful and highly innovative features: easily adjustable intonation, easy bridge repositioning, easily changed saddles, and a slanted top to allow tailpiece height to be set right down against the wood. It is very surprising that this design was not more widely adopted.
