This is a very rare Teisco Spectrum SP-65.
These guitars were made around 1992 by Kawai, only sold in Japan, and produced in extremely limited numbers - it's estimated that less than five examples in black were produced.
This guitar has was recently professionally refretted with StewMac Medium/Tall frets for a more modern feel (the original frets were low, skinny, vintage style and had significant fret wear so they had to go).
The guitar is set up with low playable action. The are several small nicks, dents, and scratches on the guitar, mostly on the back, but nothing that goes through the finish or that affects playability. The back of the neck is smooth and free from wear.
The pickups, bridge, tuners, vibrato and all other hardware are original to the guitar.
