Subway Guitars in Berkeley CA is pleased to offer an American classic - a vintage Danelectro Convertible
This model needs no introduction. Whether you play acoustic, electric, or acoustic electric, the Convertible is sure to get it done.
This guitar was fortunate enough to receive the legendary Subway setup recently, which means it will arrive at your door with low action, a true tone, and no issues.
Cosmetically, the guitar is in great shape. The top and back still have strong gloss and no scratches or dings. There was some discoloration on the formica sides, but no worse than any formica kitchen coumter from the same era. The neck has some playing wear, but only the good kind. There are a few small dings on the headstock.
The original Waverly tuners work great and the buttons are intact. The original metal nut is cut at just the right height. The original lipstick pickup and electronics are working great.
