Martin Custom Shop D-18 Adirondack Top / Mahogany
Tobias Music - Chicago Area’s Finest Guitars Since 1978
Proud of our 47 Year Partnership with Martin Guitars
The Custom Shop D-18 puts premium tonewoods and handcrafted Martin excellence within easy reach. Featuring solid genuine mahogany back and sides paired with an Adirondack spruce top, it produces a clear, punchy voice with impressive projection—ideal for flatpicking, strumming, and everything in between. Golden Era–inspired, hand-shaped scalloped forward-shifted bracing and a traditional dovetail neck joint deliver rich vintage character and dynamic responsiveness, while faux tortoise binding offers a subtle twist on classic Style 18 appointments.
A standout addition to our lineup, this model delivers the full Custom Shop experience without the need for a custom order. Whether you’re upgrading to a long-awaited dream guitar or adding a truly inspiring piece to your collection, the Custom Shop D-18 shows that top-tier craftsmanship is closer than you think.
Understated looks, timeless tone. Adirondack spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides producing a warm, clear, authoritative voice. Vintage appointments and low profile neck for an old soul sound in a brand new body. A true American Classic.
