This is one of the best-looking Epiphones they’ve put out in years.
The Epiphone Les Paul Standard ’60s Quilt Top in Transparent Blue (2021–2025) is a serious step up from the standard veneer models. The quilt top on this one is absolutely stunning — deep, dimensional figuring that shifts under light and almost looks three-dimensional. It has that watery, rippled effect that makes quilt tops so addictive. Under natural light, the Transparent Blue finish glows.
Flip it over and the transparent back showing off the wood grain is just as cool. It gives it that boutique-style vibe you usually see on much more expensive instruments.
Condition-wise, this one is practically new; still has plastic film over the pickups and pick guard. Little to no wear. No meaningful playtime. No dings, dents, or major scratches. It presents like a fresh guitar. It includes all original case candy and ships in the original box.
This model features:
- Mahogany body with maple cap and AAA quilt veneer
- SlimTaper ’60s C neck profile
- Laurel fingerboard with trapezoid inlays
- 22 medium jumbo frets
- Epiphone ProBucker 2 (neck) & ProBucker 3 (bridge) humbuckers
- CTS electronics with push/pull coil splitting
- LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar
- Grover Rotomatic tuners
The ProBuckers are a big selling point here. They’re modeled after Gibson’s BurstBuckers and use Alnico II magnets, giving you warmth and articulation without getting muddy. It’s punchy and clean, just like a proper Les Paul should be. The coil-splitting adds versatility — roll it back for brighter, more single-coil-style tones when needed.
It’s been properly set up and plays exceptionally well. Action is comfortable, frets feel clean, and intonation is dialed in. It responds well to picking dynamics — stays articulate when clean, and thickens up nicely under gain.
This is one of those guitars that genuinely doesn’t feel “budget.” Between the quilt top, coil splitting, Grovers, CTS wiring, and overall finish quality, it punches well above its price bracket.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–6 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
