Some scratches from use but works fine. Flick two switches to go from a warm analog sound with decaying repeats to a more hifi but warm sounding delay and everything in between.

The Vox Time Machine is a versatile delay pedal for electric guitar, designed to combine both modern clarity and vintage character in one unit — essentially offering two delay voices in a single stompbox.

🎛 Core Features

• Dual Delay Modes:
  • Modern Mode – Crystal-clean, high-fidelity repeats.
  • Vintage Mode – Warmer, tape-inspired repeats with subtle modulation and saturation.
• Hi-Fi / Lo-Fi Switch: Lets you choose between transparent delay (Hi-Fi) or Satriani’s custom EQ/filter settings (Lo-Fi) that help the delayed signal sit smoothly in a mix.
• Tap Tempo: Tap in the delay speed live, syncing to your playing or drum grooves.
• Wide Delay Range: From quick 30 ms slapback to almost 6 seconds of echo (up to ~5800 ms with tap tempo).
• Separate Outputs: Includes independent dry and wet outputs for stereo setups or sending delayed signal to a second amp/stereo rig.

🧠 Sound & Use

• Modern Mode is excellent for clean, rhythmic repeats and clear echoes.
• Vintage Mode leans toward classic tape-style texture with a bit of warmth and modulation.
• The Lo-Fi EQ option helps tailor the delay to fit nicely in full band mixes.

📊 Practical Notes

• Typical controls include Level, Range, Time, Feedback, Tap/Mode switch, and Hi-Fi/Lo-Fi switch.
• It runs on a 9 V battery or optional adapter, and has a solid build typical of Vox pedals.

In short: The Vox Time Machine is a flexible delay with both modern fidelity and vintage-inspired character, useful for everything from rhythmic slapback to ambient, long echo textures.
