This is a killer 1965 Gibson Melody Maker in Cherry, double-pickup, wide-nut model with a full, comfy neck that offers a lively and resonant response. Outside of a swapped nut, it’s stock and in excellent condition with a few dings here and there. Sonically, this thing has that snappy, mid-forward punch with tons of character and excellent sustain compared to other examples we have seen... Easily one of the best-playing and best-sounding Melody Makers we’ve had through the shop; you’d be hard-pressed to find a cleaner, more inspiring example. Includes original hardshell case.
