*Observations: Set the controls of the Time Machine to the early '80s! This bass is in exceptional shape for an over 40-year old instrument. Aside from fingernail/pick scratching on the pickguard and some mostly light scratching on the top and back, it is in very clean condition. Most of the scratching on the body is located in an area on the top near the bass side of the neck pocket and some button rash on the back. However, there are no notable dings or dents anywhere and the finish is glossy and beams with its original luster. The electronics work well and sound great and playability is very good, with only light fret wear. Inside the original hard case, which is also in excellent condition, you'll find the original inspection tag, warranty card, manual and polishing cloth. It's rare to find one of these instruments in this kind of shape and this is a sensational example of Fender's transitional early '80s era, ready to play for many years to come.
