This is an absolutely beautiful Gretsch 6122 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman made in 1965! It’s a joy to play and plays smoothly up and down the fretboard. The electronics work perfectly and they can create a very nice variety of tones. No wonder this guitar is sought after! It has small signs of fret use, and plays great. It’s been kept in overall very good, with just some small scratches/indentions, some finish checking, some patina/aging to the hardware, and some binding breakdown/wear as shown in the pictures. The binding on the back has more wear than the front and may need replaced in the near future if wanted to. The palm mute feature on this guitar works but the foam will need replaced. The tremolo works great and as mentioned, this guitar is a joy to play! The original hard case is included with just some small signs of wear. This guitar weighs 8lbs 6oz. An absolutely beautiful sounding great playing Gretsch Country Gentleman! Everything will be packaged well for shipping.
