Phil Collins Signature Model Custom Shop PC1 USA Jackson Guitar - Satin Au Natural

Phil Collen has been a Jackson guitar supporter since 1986, this Model was his favorite piece, done to his specs and signed by Phil. This is a serious guitar made for the touring musician or advanced solo artist. Many special components such as:

This was a Custom special order where you could choose the build early in the production cycle and this one is a unique build with the pretty flower neck strip Inlays and the satin Gold hardware. These extras added a few hundred $ to the standard product.

Extremely potent pickups, DiMarzio Super B DP-152 F in bridge position, same but a DP-116 in middle, and a very special PC 1 Sustainer Driver in the neck position.

Genuine Floyd Rose locking Tremolo Bridge witn locking nut and cast locking gears on a Fender Strat Authorized head stock. Should go a whole set without tuning or just a twitch of the micro bridge adjuster.

Other than the Intensity volume and tone controls with a 5 way blade switch you can see 2 mini toggle switches. 1 turns on or off the unending sustain feature on the neck pickup and another that selects whether the fundamental notes are sustained or the harmonics.

Quartersewn Maple neck where the grain runs parallel to neck length giving ultra rigid neck, also carbon rod stiffened. 24 jumbo frets with very smooth tapered fret ends, feels "fretless" so you can really run.

The neck is also c ompound tapered from a 12" radius to a 16" radius at heal. Love the

profile very similar to other Custom Shop necks such as my SG Supreme and Stratocaster Silver Metallic from my other listed guitars. Extremely flat feel at upper registers but this allows you to glide to the next note without really lifting your finger tips. Fast shredder with Extremely Pronounced sounds

An intermediate would love the playability of this model and would help take you to the next level.

All Satin finish in an AU Natural color, including satin gold hardware, very nice.

The sound is outrageous with multiple combinations will take a few days to figure out. Requires 2 9v batteries for the special wiring components.

Pristine condition with no marks, scratches or issues anywhere on Guitar.

Custom Shop 5 digit won't show up on Jackson site as is typical for Jackson Custom Shop serial numbers, so don't know specific year that it was produced.

Original case has a few small storage marks and has Airport approved locks.
