Up for sale is a 1970s Gibson ES-175D.
The Gibson ES-175, a true standard in the jazz world, has supported jazz players for a long time. This instrument was made in Kalamazoo during the Norlin era.
Decades of being played have resulted in a rich, resonant acoustic character typical of a full hollow-body guitar, which translates into impressive volume and depth when plugged into an amplifier.
It is equipped with engraved-numbered PAF pickups. These deliver a tight yet warm and glossy tone that makes the most of the laminated maple construction. The sound offers the deep lows, focused mids, and rich, refined character that define a great jazz guitar.
As for condition, the frets have been replaced, and some of the pots have been changed. Considering its age, the guitar remains in relatively clean cosmetic condition. It plays well and presents no performance issues.
The hard case shown in the photos is included.
