Fender Custom Shop 65 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic - Fire Mist Silver Over Charcoal Frost Metallic

This ’65 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic captures the feel of a well‑loved vintage instrument, with the tone and playability that define the best of the Fender Custom Shop. The alder body wears a Fire Mist Silver finish over Charcoal Frost Metallic, aged to a deep, broken‑in look that feels familiar from the first moment you pick it up.

A flame maple neck carved to a comfortable ’60s Strat “C” profile pairs with an AAA rosewood fingerboard, vintage frets, and a 7.25-inch radius for an authentic mid‑sixties playing experience. Custom dimensions at .790 and .980 give the neck a substantial, played‑in feel without getting in the way of fast lines or expressive bends.

Hand wound ’65 Strat pickups deliver the clarity, chime, and dynamic response that define this era of Fender tone. Modern Strat wiring and a five‑way switch make the guitar versatile on stage or in the studio, while the fully relic’d vintage hardware keeps the look cohesive and true to the period.

This build brings together classic materials, meticulous aging, and Custom Shop craftsmanship to create a Strat that feels like it has already lived a lifetime of music, ready for whatever comes next.
