Meinl Stick & Brush Gabe Helguera Signature Drumsticks

Developed in collaboration with Gabe Helguera (I Prevail), these signature sticks are built for drummers who live at the intersection of high-intensity power and deep pocket groove. Designed to withstand the rigors of a modern metalcore tour while maintaining enough finesse for articulate studio work, they provide the projection needed to cut through a wall of guitars without sacrificing feel.

Built for Power and Articulation

Gabe’s design focuses on a "best of both worlds" approach to stick dimensions and tip shape:

• Acorn Tip: Features an oversized acorn tip that delivers a full, dark, and defined sound on cymbals and a punchy, deep "thud" on drumheads—ideal for heavy hitters who need articulation.
• Optimized Reach: With a length of 16.42", these sticks offer slightly more leverage and reach than a standard stick, allowing for greater velocity with less effort.
• Medium Taper: Provides a balanced, front-weighted feel that helps the stick do the work for you, driving through the stroke for maximum volume and projection.

German Engineering, American Materials

Like all Meinl signature models, the Gabe Helguera sticks undergo a rigorous manufacturing process to ensure elite consistency:

• Select American Hickory: Chosen for its incredible density and strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring these sticks "last forever" as Gabe intended.
• Model-Based Weight Selection: Dowels are weighed and sorted into Medium-Heavy categories before shaping, ensuring that every pair feels substantial and consistent.
• Weight & Pitch Matched: Every pair is digitally analyzed so that both sticks in the sleeve share the exact same musical pitch and weight for a symmetrical playing experience.
