The Zildjian ZBT14C is a 14" crash cymbal from the brand's long-running sheet bronze series, produced primarily from the late 1990s through 2019 . You receive a medium-weight cymbal with a traditional finish, precision-lathed and hammered to deliver a bright, high-pitched tone with precise, clean stick definition . Its smaller size contributes to a fast response and a sustain that ranges from short to medium depending on the production era, making it ideal for quick accents and articulate punctuation .

Strike this cymbal and hear a cutting, focused crash that sits well in both practice and live settings. Players describe its character as explosive and responsive, with some noting a slightly trashy or splash-like quality due to its fast decay . While crafted from sheet bronze rather than cast alloys, it carries Zildjian's consistent quality control and delivers reliable performance for beginners, intermediate players, or working drummers needing a durable utility cymbal . Its weight averages around 708 grams and it was manufactured in the United States .
