The PRS Archon Classic 50 Head is a powerful, two-channel tube amplifier built for players who want authentic rock tones with modern flexibility. Refining the original Archon platform, the Classic delivers a more expressive midrange on the Lead channel while maintaining exceptional clarity, articulation, and punch. From classic crunch to saturated lead tones, it responds effortlessly to your touch and guitar volume.

The Clean channel offers pristine headroom that smoothly transitions into edge-of-breakup territory, making it an ideal foundation for pedals. A bright switch on each channel adds shimmer without harshness, while global Presence and Depth controls let you fine-tune the amp’s feel—from tight and focused to wide and resonant. The result is a three-dimensional tone with excellent note separation and dynamic range.

Built for both stage and studio, the Archon Classic features rugged construction, a tube-driven effects loop, and adjustable bias with monitoring jacks. Whether you’re chasing vintage-inspired rock tones or pushing into modern gain territory, this 50-watt head delivers power, precision, and musicality in equal measure.
