Taylor 214ce – Natural

The Taylor 214ce is an exceptional acoustic-electric guitar featuring Taylor's beloved Grand Auditorium body style. Its combination of a fast, slender Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck and layered walnut back and sides churns out a delectable tone that is easy-going yet capable of a midrange growl when played aggressively. The body style delivers a potent blend of comfort, playability, and power, while the stunning Natural finish showcases the solid, torrefied Sitka spruce top, summoning players to its side.

Key Features:

• Body Shape: Grand Auditorium: Delivers a potent blend of comfort, playability, and power, featuring a narrower waist than a dreadnought for more treble zing and sharper note definition.
• Top Wood: Solid Torrefied Sitka Spruce: Treated with a special roasting procedure (torrefaction) that removes moisture and sugars for a lighter, more resonant top that vibrates with ease, resulting in a full and sweet sound.
• Back & Sides Wood: Layered Walnut: Keeps tone focused with rustic clarity and a warm, airy presence, while dynamically responding to your playing intensity.
• Bracing: C-Class Bracing: An updated bracing pattern that provides top-notch projection and dynamic prowess.
• Electronics: Taylor ES-2 (Expression System 2): A proprietary pickup system that uses three individually calibrated piezo-electric sensors behind the saddle for a natural acoustic sound with incredible dynamic range and responsiveness.
• Neck Material & Fingerboard: Neo-Tropical Mahogany Neck with Crelicam Ebony Fingerboard: The fast and slender Standard Carve neck shape plays effortlessly, topped with a smooth ebony fingerboard.
• Cutaway: Graceful Venetian Cutaway: Gives you free access to the upper frets.
• Scale Length: 25.5": For optimal string tension and tonal balance.
• Nut Width: 1.6875": For a comfortable and precise playing feel.
• Case/Gig Bag: Included Gig Bag: For secure transport and protection.

The Taylor 214ce offers players a versatile and flexible instrument ready for countless genres and virtually any playing style. Combining the refined acoustic voice of the torrefied Sitka spruce top with the powerful, natural sound of the Expression System 2 electronics, this guitar delivers professional-level tone.
