With the Multi Repetitor, Noise Engineering presents the sequel to the generative trigger sequencers and . The module continuously generates rhythms that are output to four triggers and Accent outputs. The primary rhythm sets available are Numeric Repetitor, Zularic Repetitor and Euclidean Rhythms. The PRIME fader is used to select the basic rhythm and FACTOR 1-4 is used to change the rhythm to be output on output pairs 1-4 based on the MODIFY switch.
MODIFY offers three rhythm modifications: offset the rhythm within the bar, multiply the prime pattern by a value set by Factor and create a rhythm or shift prime and select a different rhythm for another channel.
The module can generate its own clock via Tap Tempo or synchronize to another (master) clock via Clock and Reset. Thanks to the control voltage inputs for Factor 1-4, Prime and Set, you have the choice of setting individual parameters yourself or letting the entire rhythm construct be constantly varied by clock-synchronized LFOs, randomizers and envelopes.
Multi Repetitor is the perfect module for anyone who needs rhythmic events in their modular system but prefers to rely on randomness and a certain degree of automation instead of programming patterns themselves.
