The Heritage Audio Successor is a 1U true-stereo diode-bridge bus compressor with Carnhill transformers, a Class A 73 output stage, blend for parallel compression, and a sidechain section that goes beyond a simple high-pass. Oxford-mode detection (the louder channel leads) keeps the image stable without summing left and right into one control voltage.

Sidechain and Blend

Sidechain filters include high-pass, mid-band peak, and high-frequency compression. Send/return jacks accept an external key. Blend with an on/off compare button is built in. Attack and release go fast enough for FET-style drum-bus work as well as slower mix-bus leveling. All controls are stepped.
