Here for sale is a Fender Stratocaster ex Bush Nigel Pulsford 3 Tone Sunburst Guitar + Case
This is a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster that was hand made for Nigel Pulsford of the multi platinum selling band Bush in the 1990's. It was made with the exquisite skill of the Fender master builders at the time, especially for Nigel and features his name inscribed in the wood of the neck pocket. It features a stunning finish showing the beutiful gran of the body which appears to be maple, with nice red tones showing through on the sunburst, a top of the line red tortoise shell pickguard, and a set of Seymour Duncan vintage rail pickups for that signature Bush sound. It also has a Floyd Rose bridge and tremolo arm that was made in collaboration with Fender. It has a zero nut at the top for precision playing. It is absolutely stellar playing guitar and with supreme quality and components. Interestingly, Nigel had other custom shop Stratocasters made for him, and this one originally had a Rosewood neck. He decided he wanted his favourite maple neck on this guitar body, which was his favourite body, and switched the necks around, so that is why the neck serial number is different to the serial number on the neck. It was used on tour and in the studio from 1998 and possibly earlier to 2001 the Golden State era when Nigel left the band. He continued to own and play it for projects afterwards and in his home studio,
The guitar has been professionally set up, and the neck is very smooth and comfortable to play. The guitar is in very good over all condition and has a nice patina and road worn vibe. The guitar sounds excellent and has that classic Bush sound to it.
The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Nigel Pulsford.
It is a highly collectible piece from one of rock biggest bands of the 1990's and an amazing piece of Bush history. Bush are still going strong with their latest album 'I Beat Loneliness' released in 2025.
