Looking to sell my Taylor 214ce-k DLX.

Beautiful, beautiful guitar in exceptional shape. Has been babied and case-kept and humidified when not being played. I looked all over it and could only find one tiny ding - just below the pick guard, about the size of a BB. It's minor enough that it's next to impossible to photograph, but I'll try and get one at your request, if interested. The only reason I am selling is that it is simply "too much" guitar for me. I am primarily an electric player and don't play acoustic that often - and I just don't need something this nice!

Includes a Taylor deluxe hardshell case, which retails for $499 alone currently. Being a deluxe model it features a gloss finish, upgraded inlay work, gold hardware, and of course this particular model has the lovely koa back and sides. Expression System 2 electronics as well.

Some small tweaks of note:

- The plastic truss rod cover has been replaced with an ebony cover (same shape, no inlay or anything - just wood instead of plastic)

- Currently is strung with Martin Monel 12's which sound nice and warm, they balance out the tone of the guitar very nicely. I will also include a new pack of D'addario XS 12's (this is what they come strung with from the factory now)

- I will include both the original "Micarta" saddle as well as a bone saddle from MacNichol guitars

- Plastic bridge pins have been replaced with ebony pins w/ abalone and brass inlays. They are nice and subtle and match the factory ebony bridge nicely.

- I will also throw in a Music Nomad truss rod tool and D'addario "Cinch Lock," which makes it easier to attach your strap to the endpin jack.

Overall, this is a wonderful instrument that is in fantastic condition and plays very, very well. I would like to see it in the hands of someone who can give it more time and attention!

I would very much prefer to keep sales local. I can travel a very limited distance to meet up, but my schedule is not terribly flexible, either. I may consider shipping but it will almost certainly be very costly and I will need time to procure a shipping box if we should go that route. For those reasons, again, would very much prefer to stick local, but feel free to reach out all the same.
