1980s Fenix F90-M guitar in excellent condition, visually stunning and with a truly surprising sound. No signs of wear or dings.

Fenix guitars were produced by Young Chang, a South Korean company best known for building pianos and industrial woodworking machinery. From the late 1980s through the early 1990s, Young Chang manufactured Squier electric guitars and basses for Fender, while also producing acoustic and electric guitars and basses under their own Fenix brand.

Due to the strong similarities between Fenix instruments and Fender models, Young Chang was unable to continue selling Fenix guitars because of licensing issues with Fender, and production was eventually discontinued. According to the story, Fenix instruments were so well made—sometimes even rivaling or surpassing Fender models—that tensions arose with Fender, ultimately leading to the end of the brand.
