Early 1960s Harmony H1260 Sovereign - Airline H-7032

Serial #:: 4721

  • Neck Reset, New Frets & Bridge Re-attachment
  • Scuffs & Scratches consistent with years of use
  • Made by Harmony for Montgomery Ward Under the Airline Brand

Huge tone! Recent neck reset and fret replacement - action at 2.10 MM at the 12th fret; designed to dig-in for leads and big chords.

What a player, shows a scar or two from past (largest is a back.. recently glued - we call it MOJO) This Lady spent more than a couple evenings in 10 cent Honky Tonks but made from great stock. All solid woods: spruce top, Honduras mahogany sides and back, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge.

Build to last a lifetime - don't pass on this one!

From the early 1960's ?... the Harmony Company produced their high-end models called the Sovereign. Two models were made with the Sovereign name, a Jumbo and OM size. Harmony also produced a model, that nearly mirrored the Sovereign Jumbo, for Montgomery Wards. This model was named the H7032 and the headstock would bare the name Airline. Over the many years during the company's history Harmony would manufacture several of their guitar models under different labels; for the Spiegel and Sears catalogs - not to mention others.
