This guitar is in better than excellent condition. Near Mint is more accurate. Frets are in really great condition as you can see in the pictures, as I have rarely played this guitar at all in the years that I have owned it. I am more of an ASAT/Tele player {allot more} I guess. Just could never bond with any three-pickup guitar. You know what they say: "Two is company, threes a crowd". This Legacy was made before G&L started printing build spec sheets, so it doesn't come with one. It does come with its original plastic hardshell case marked: "G&L" right on the top. It too is in fantastic shape. Vibrato bar is in the case pocket. Truss rod turns freely and has plenty of room left. Alder body, maple neck with a nice dark rosewood fretboard. Neck profile is like their "modern classic", I have the same neck on my Blues boy. Nice Cherry Sunburst finish. I bought it to match my Les Paul. I was saddened but not shocked to hear that G&L had closed their doors some months back. Too bad, because dollar for dollar, they made superior instruments. I have been sold on their MFD pole pieces for many years now. I am hoping the company that bought them out will make them {do you hear me?} Anyway, great guitar for not allot of money.
