This Vincent Kohlert Winnenden Bb wood clarinet is a high-quality German-made intermediate to advanced instrument built in Winnenden, West Germany. Kohlert instruments from this era are known for their dense grenadilla wood, solid craftsmanship, and rich, darker tonal character that appeals to classical players and versatile performers alike.

This example features a 14.9 mm bore (approx. 0.587"), which produces a balanced tone with depth and projection throughout the range. It is easy to play, with a stable scale, strong low register, and centered response that works well in band, ensemble, orchestra, and general performance.

The clarinet has been fully repadded with blue leather pads, with tenon corks and key/quiet corks replaced where necessary, and has been adjusted and play-tested. The nickel-plated keywork has been machine polished and hand finished, and the instrument is mechanically sound and ready to play.
