Very sensitive and controllable.

Maple wood is a lightweight alternative to hickory that allows for more sensitive and controlled playing. Maple sticks produce dark tones on your instruments and offer a softer feel. Maple DIP® models are treated with a double coating of our exclusive DIP grip, providing a desirable back weighting to the stick. If you are looking for a stick with maximum grip to relax your hands that is still light enough to fly, Maple DIPs are for you. 5A Drumsticks are the world’s most popular and commonly used size, and a classic stick choice for beginner drummers and professionals alike.
