1960 Fender Champ

Serial # C12610

Untouched circuit, original everything including caps and tubes.

RCA rectifier and power tube, Sylvania preamp.

Missing lower backplate, and some screws replaced. Period correct JBL speaker. Factory?

The 1960 Fender Champ F51 circuit is part of the late tweed Champ lineage and is essentially the final tweed Champ circuit before the blackface era.

But what is that aluminum dust cap speaker you might ask?
It's a very interesting JBL D216 speaker.
an 8" alnico speaker which is Era-correct: Late 1950s–early 1960s
Characteristics:
Much higher efficiency than stock Jensen
Tighter low end
More headroom and clarity
Brighter, more articulate top end
Often factory-installed by special order or dealer-installed.
