The Warwick RockBass Alien Deluxe Hybrid Thinline is a modern 32" medium-scale four-string bass that combines acoustic character with high flexibility and comfortable playability. Thanks to its significantly reduced body depth, the thinline design offers exceptionally comfortable handling and makes transport considerably easier, without sacrificing a full-size body. The solid spruce top provides a clear, fast response, while laminated walnut back and sides deliver warmth and definition. The mahogany set-neck design with a wenge fingerboard (20" radius) and 24 extra-high jumbo frets made of a titanium-brass alloy guarantees a modern playing feel and precise response. With a 38.5 mm nut width and a Just-A-Nut III Tedur nut, the setup can be optimally adjusted. The hybrid pickup system combines a Shadow Nanomagnetic pickup in the fingerboard with a Shadow Piezo pickup under the bridge nut. The integrated Shadow Preamp with tuner allows you to adjust volume, balance, and tone separately for both pickups – for versatile sounds ranging from natural acoustic to powerful and assertive. Features include a wenge bridge with slotted bridge pins, Warwick tuners, Warwick S-Security Locks, chrome hardware, and Warwick Red Label strings (0.45–1.05). The solid black satin finish completes the elegant look. Weighing approximately 3.10 kg, the bass remains pleasantly lightweight and comes complete with a gig bag and setup tools.
