Laney The Difference Engine – Stereo Delay Pedal

The Difference Engine is Laney doing what Laney does best: taking something familiar and quietly making it far more interesting than you expected. This is a lush, musical stereo delay designed to sit beautifully in a mix, whether you’re adding subtle depth or letting things spiral off into ambient territory.

With warm repeats, wide stereo spread, and a control layout that actually encourages exploration, it delivers everything from tight rhythmic echoes to evolving, atmospheric trails. It reacts naturally to your playing and stacks cleanly with other effects, making it just as comfortable on a minimal board as it is at the centre of an ambient experiment.

Rich, spacious, and unapologetically musical.
The Difference Engine doesn’t shout for attention — it just makes everything sound better and lets you take the credit.
