The Paiste Traditional Medium Ride 20-inch is a versatile, full-bodied ride cymbal designed for clear stick definition and a warm, musical spread. It delivers a balanced “ping” with a controlled wash that builds smoothly, making it well-suited for everything from articulate timekeeping to broader, more open riding patterns. The bell is present and usable without becoming overly sharp, offering reliable projection for accents and riding on the bell. As dynamics increase, the cymbal retains definition while adding a rounded, complex sustain, giving it a classic ride feel that sits naturally in a mix. Overall, it functions as an all-purpose medium-weight ride: responsive, controlled, and sonically rich without being overly dry or excessively bright.
