A true metal classic, this 2006 Jackson RR3 Randy Rhoads Pro Series, made in Japan, delivers everything players love about the iconic RR shape: aggressive looks, fast playability, and powerful tone.

Finished in striking Ivory with Black Pinstripes, this guitar has undeniable stage presence. Japanese-made Jacksons from this era are highly regarded for their excellent build quality, solid craftsmanship, and consistency – and this RR3 is a perfect example.

Technical condition is excellent.
The guitar plays great, sounds fantastic, and everything functions exactly as it should. The neck is straight, the frets are in very good shape, and the electronics work flawlessly.

Cosmetic condition:
Like most V-style guitars that have actually been played, it does show a few typical finish chips on the tips of the body wings (please see photos). These are purely cosmetic and extremely common on Randy Rhoads models. Aside from that, the guitar looks very clean and well cared for.

Even though the RR3 features a slightly thicker, more “rounded” neck profile compared to ultra-thin shred necks, many players actually prefer it. The neck feels solid and comfortable, offering great sustain and control without sacrificing speed. It’s a guitar that feels substantial and stable in your hands.

If you want a serious stage-ready metal machine with classic Randy Rhoads attitude – without breaking the bank – this is an excellent choice.

The following work has been done: full fretboard cleaning, lemon oil treatment, fret polishing and string height setup (2.3 mm at the 12th fret on the low E string), pickup height adjusted for balance and clarity, and a fresh set of D'Addario XL 10/46 strings installed.
