This 2013 Fender American Vintage '64 Jazz Bass in Lake Placid Blue is a seriously cool bass, both visually and sonically. Special Edition. 1st 46 run!!! Rare.
This model was part of Fender's American Vintage Series, which aimed to recreate the classic instruments as faithfully as possible — vintage specs, hardware, pickups, and even period-correct finishes. The '64 Jazz Bass specifically features:

- Neck: Maple (early-'60s "C" profile)
- Fretboard: Round-lam rosewood with clay dot inlays
- Pickups: Fender American Vintage '64 single-coils
- Finish: Nitrocellulose lacquer — lets the wood breathe and age beautifully
- Hardware: Reverse tuners, threaded saddles on the bridge
- Color: Lake Placid Blue (which is such a classic, deep metallic blue — looks killer under stage lights)
