Monarch TM-30 Japanese Lo-Z dynamic microphone w/XLR 60’s - Black/chrome
Serviced by Cole’s Picks Vintage. Very cool sounding character mic. We have a vintage 1960's eraJapanese Monarch TM-30 low-impedance Dynamic microphone. This is one of the rarest and only one I have ever come across, even difficult to find any data about this one on the web. It's a professional grade mic, about the same size as the RCA BK5... a black all metal casing with that large chromed ribbed front screen. It has the chromed pistol grip with on-off switch, and the pivot joint that hold the tilt position firmly in place. There are no loose or rattling parts, and it's in very good physical condition with barely any signs of wear. Capsule looks clean and no crumbling foam.
Sound-wise, it tests with a decent full-ranging profile with good output strength, although a good preamp or a fet head will bring out a lot more options with the character of the mic. (A voice sample can be furnished upon request) A brand new 4' cable is the proprietary 3 pin on the mic side and a male XLR plug on the opposing side. Boomerang stand is NOT included. ** Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping.
