Egmond unknown c. 1960 - sunburst

So, gather up your skiffle band and ferry ‘cross the Mersey! Interesting little Beatles pre-Hamburg era Egmond parlor guitar. Yes, yes, the one seen in photos of George is actually a couple years older and lacks the adhesive attached “pickguard”. However, these little buggers definitely have that British Invasion thing going on. Of course, they have to play decently… This one has a decent neck and frets, and I’ve got it set to 3/32”, which makes for easy short-scale playing. In very good condition throughout, with just minor scuffs and wear and tear. One replaced tuner button; is actually a pretty close match. Not surprisingly, sounds pretty small and plywoody, but does not sound crappy. Cool little guitar with historical cachet…
