This is a USED Selmer St. Louis Clarinet. It is a wood body with silver keys and an alternate left hand Ab/Eb lever, and the plating is fully intact. This is a rare model that was made in 2004 to commemorate the Selmer clarinet’s 100th anniversary of its presentation at the St. Louis World Fair. There are significant defects to the upper joint bore, namely a gouge towards the center tenon and an internal crack near the throat G# tone hole (see pictures). Despite the damage, the instrument plays with a sweet tone, and would be good for a student on a budget. This instrument would run close to $3,000 in good condition, so this is an exceptional deal. Case is included with the instrument.
