For sale is a 2012 Paul Reed Smith P22 in a classic Gold Top finish. This is a USA-made PRS Core model and was PRS’s first solid-body electric guitar to feature an onboard piezo system, allowing both electric and acoustic tones from a single instrument.
The P22 is essentially a Custom 22 with added versatility: PRS 53/10 humbuckers paired with a PRS/LR Baggs piezo bridge. You can blend electric and acoustic sounds together or run them separately thanks to the dual output jacks, making this an excellent guitar for studio work or live performance.

Condition (PLEASE READ)
This guitar is in Good, fully functional condition with cosmetic wear only.
The most notable wear is finish lifting and wear along the bass-side edge of the neck, along with gloss wear on the back of the neck from normal play. The neck also shows some clouding/hazing in the V12 clear coat, which is a known cosmetic characteristic of PRS V12 finishes over time. These are finish-only issues - the wood is intact, the neck is solid and stable, and playability is unaffected.
Additional cosmetic wear includes:
- A few small dings and finish chips on body edges
- Light surface scratches and normal handling wear on the back
- Typical wear around the jack plate and control cavity cover
There are no breaks, cracks, repairs, or modifications. Frets are in good shape, the neck is straight, the truss rod works properly, and all electronics function perfectly, including the piezo system.
