Vintage original 1937 Selmer Balanced Action tenor saxophone
This horn was built in France and likely engraved in the states. Also looks to be an very old re lacquer.
When I got the horn it had been sitting for many years, and was missing the neck. I had the horn completely gone through a few years back. A couple small dents were repaired, all the keyword was tightened up, and a partial repadding was done. Most recently it had a couple solder joints repaired on the back of the F guard (see pic) and adjustment at Better than new band repair in Round Rock, TX.
It's paired with a power neck from China. Much to the surprise of the tech he said it intonated very well with the sax, and I must say it does plays very easy. Very open sounding.
