The Vintage Reserve at Pristine auctions is proud to present this awesome 1957 Gibson ES-175 Hollow Body Electric Guitar in Sunburst Serial Number A 27026.     This is a nicely preserved example of one of the most Iconic Jazz Boxes Gibson has ever produced.  The 1957 year is special with this guitar because it was the first year it was offered with either one or two Humbuckers since the P-90's that were on it since it came out in the late 1940's. This thing sounds absolutely amazing with an incredible vintage feel and vibe.  This is super easy to play and the tone that comes out of this is beyond words.  This thing sounds and plays sooo good.  It comes to Pristine Auctions collector owned and purchased off Rudy's Music Vintage Collection from New York City.  

This guitar is in Very Good Condition.  She is super clean for a 1957, almost 70 years old at this point. There is some scratching, finish checking and dings, more so on the back of the instrument than the front.  The front of the instrument is even cleaner.    The original pickups have been replaced with Lindy Fralin PAF's.  The Tuners are non original.     Parts of the bridge has been replaced.  The Spec sheet from Rudy's documenting everything  with this instrument is included and photographed.  An all original version this clean would retail for close to 25000.00.  This is definitely a way to get into one of these without breaking the bank nearly as much. 

She was just given a fresh professional set up with  an Ernie Ball Custom Made 11-48 Gauge Electric Guitar Strings with a wound G (24).     The original frets are remarkable with minim al wear and some of the nibs still present.  These frets are clean.       Will ship professionally packed and fully insured.   This Comes with the Original Factory Issued Hard Shell Case.
