The MTD Kingston Super - A Versatile Tone Monster

The MTD Kingston Super is a precise combination of power and finesse.  Equipped with high output humbucking pickups and myraid switching and EQ options, you will never be lost in the mix or wishing you had more.  Like all MTD Kingston instruments, the Super undergoes a rigorous quality control and setup process in the MTD Kingston NY Facility from their master technicians.

The MTD Kingston Super features their signature asymmetrical neck and compound fingerboard radius. The Buzz Feiten Tuning System provides precise intonation up and down the fingerboard.  The robust top-loaded quick release bridge allows for speedy and easy string changes while the Hipshot Licensed Tuning Machines provide smooth accurate tuning.
The active EQ of the Super features +/- 6dB of boost/cut for each of the three specially selected frequency points.  The Super also features a 3-Way Mini Toggle for each of its MM style pickups.  In the down position the pickup is in Series Mode providing a bold punch and aggressive growl.  In the middle position, the pickup is in Single Coil Mode which will make each one sound brighter and sweeter.  In the Up position, the pickup is in Parallel Mode providing slightly lower output than Series Mode.  When both pickups are in Single Coil Mode and the blend pot is in the center position, the pickups are hum-cancelling.
