This was bought by my dad in a box of parts from Shields Music in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1975. He then put it on his 1974 Precision and gigged with it for years. It's been on and off of his '76 Jazz and only came off last year. It's in good working order, truss rod functions well and all of the mounting holes should take Fender stock hardware just fine.
There is wear, as expected. There are marks where he used round wound strings on it for decades. There are some dings in the finish and a couple of gouges. One gouge in the headstock and one by the heel. There was a high spot that was sanded and refinished in the '90s right around where the 18th fret would be.
There are a couple of photos that have been edited, 1. to blur the serial number, and 2. to try to emphasize where it's stamped on the end 03 71 B.

Other than that, I tried to get good shots of everything I could, all of the blemishes and all of the lovely figuring in the maple. If you want more, or if you'd like to video chat, just let me know.
