Meet the Gibson LG-1, a testament to Gibson's dedication to providing high-quality instruments for players of all skill levels. Born in the era of World War II, this acoustic guitar was designed to be a cost-effective alternative for budding musicians, without compromising on the quality synonymous with the Gibson brand. Its unique ladder-style bracing and construction using a spruce top and mahogany back, was originally intended to economize, but now they have become a defining feature, offering a distinctive tone that sets the LG-1 apart.

The LG-1 features a concert body shape with a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The neck is made of mahogany, as well, and has a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard built on a 24 ¾” scale.

Please keep in mind that it is a used piece of gear, and therefore may show some signs of normal use. Keep in mind, as well, that the instrument is nearly sixty years old, and has a lifetime of dings and scratches. None of these affect the structural integrity of the instrument.
