Description
Few guitarists command the respect and versatility of Alex Skolnick, renowned for his work with Testament and the Alex Skolnick Trio. The AS-1FR, now updated with a striking Lime Burst finish over a flamed maple top, embodies his original design while adding modern performance features such as a Floyd Rose bridge for expressive playing.
This set-thru mahogany body with maple cap offers a 24.75” scale, Macassar ebony fingerboard, and 22 extra-jumbo frets for smooth, fast action. Black hardware, Dunlop Straploks, and a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo ensure reliable tuning and playability.
The guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncan Alex Skolnick Signature Humbucker pickups, with the neck pickup offering coil-splitting via push-pull control. Perfect for both technical metal and sophisticated jazz.
