Peavey "Extra Special 130" - The Ultimate Solid-State Powerhouse
This is not your standard Peavey Special 130—this is a custom-spec workhorse combining the legendary reliability of Peavey's 1980s solid-state circuitry with the unparalleled performance of an Electro-Voice EVM 15L speaker. This combination transforms a classic gigging amp into a premium, high-headroom monster capable of delivering unmatched volume, clarity, and articulation.

Peavey Special 130 Solo Series delivers 130 watts of road-tested solid-state power with two footswitchable channels (Sparkling Clean and Saturation/Lead) and genuine spring reverb. Known for its tank-like build and immense volume.

Electro-Voice EVM 15L (15-Inch): One of the most sought-after guitar speakers ever made. This high-power handling speaker is famous for its incredible efficiency, massive clean headroom, and ruler-flat frequency response. It delivers pristine clarity, tight low-end, and powerful midrange punch, ensuring your tone remains pure even at the highest volumes.

Unrivaled Clean Headroom: The 130-watt amplifier section paired with the super-efficient EVM 15L means you get a clean tone that is louder and more robust than virtually any other amp in its class. Perfect for jazz, country, and especially for a pedal platform. This also contains an effects loop!

Deep, Authoritative Low End: The 15-inch EVM 15L speaker moves more air, providing a fuller, deeper bottom-end that is highly articulate and never muddy—a crucial advantage for extended-range guitars, bass, or keyboards.

High-Fidelity Tone Reproduction: The flat response of the EVM 15L ensures that whether you're using the Peavey's built-in saturation or your favorite boutique overdrive pedals, the sound is reproduced with astounding accuracy and punch.

Peavey Saturation Control: Dial in the classic '80s solid-state grit, which sounds particularly huge and aggressive through the powerful 15-inch speaker.

Needs a bulletproof, reliable amplifier for touring and regular gigging.
