Specifications

The Dean USA V 1977 Limited Edition is a rare, high-end electric guitar series limited to only 35 units. These instruments are crafted in the Dean USA Custom Shop in Tampa, Florida, and are designed to replicate the original 1977 V-series aesthetics with modern premium components.  Key Specifications

• Body and Construction: The guitar features a solid mahogany body with a bound flame maple top. It utilizes a set-neck construction for enhanced sustain.
• Neck and Fingerboard: It has a 3-piece mahogany neck with a "Soft V" profile. The fingerboard is made of ebony, featuring 22 medium jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays.
• Electronics: It is equipped with dual DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion humbuckers (neck and bridge). Controls include two volume knobs, one tone knob, and a 3-way toggle switch.
• Hardware:
  • Tuners: Grover Rotomatic with kidney bean heads.
  • Bridge: Tune-O-Matic with a brass string-through V tailpiece.
  • Nut: Bone nut.
• Finish: Finished in a transparent "Cherryburst" (or Trans Cherry Sunburst) using nitrocellulose lacquer.
