Consigned by JAMS Music is this late 1965 Fender Duo Sonic II in Dakota Red.
This guitar is currently very well set up, has great fretwork with little to no wear, and is very serviceable.
The next time fret work is needed this guitar will need a board plane to compensate for the limited adjustment range left in the truss rod. The split in the neck heel (pictured) has been repaired. The pickup switches have been swapped for newer and more reliable parts, although the originals are included with the guitar.
All other electronics and wiring are original to the guitar.
Expected finish checking for the age, and minor nicks and dings. There is some deformation of one of the tuner buttons (Pictured in the listing) that does not affect performance.
Additional photos are available on request. (Though we think we've done a thorough job already!)
