PLEASE
NOTE: These are made to order cabinets and may take up to 20 days build
time before shipping. Handcrafted one at a time in my New Hampshire
wood shop.
NEW at TRM Guitarcabs is the addition of the pine 3D 112 side vented cabinets. These have a 3" x 11" oblong vent on either side of the cab. Angled panels inside at the rear project the sound from the rear of the speaker out towards the front producing a huge 3D like sound. You have the tight lowend sound of a closed back blended with the spacious surround sound like an opened back cabinet. Made from 3/4" select white pine with 1/2" birch baffle and rear panel. Outside dimensions are 21" wide x 17-1/2" high x 13" deep. Corners are reinforced with dovetailed joints. Cabinet is rear loading so you can attach grill cloth to the baffle without the need for a seperate grill frame.
WHY PINE? Pine is a lightweight and resonant wood that was used in lots of early Fender amps and cabinets. Pine gives a slightly warmer top end and beefier low mids. Another advantage is its light weight. I've been in various wood working businesses for over 30 years and have been building speaker cabinets since 1999. I've sold quite a few on ebay too. Check my feedbacks. I'll be happy to answer any and all questions and can also do custom builds.
Ships via USPS or UPS depending on location. Please allow 20 days lead time for your order to ship.
Thanks,
Tim from trmguitarcabs.
