I marked the condition as "Good" but that really doesn't describe it in terms of how it plays and sounds. Definitely the finest playing and sounding '59 ES-335 I've owned. With a very fat bridge pickup and sweet neck. The PAFs measure 8.05K bridge and 8.60K neck. It measures .825 at the 1st fret and .970 at the 12th. The neck is considered "transitional" coming between the ball bat '58s and the skinny 60's. I find it the perfect middle ground. Very comfortable. Made in November of '59. Weighs only 7 lbs 12 ounces.
It has been professionally re-fretted. It had Schaller tuners at some point but a set of vintage Klusons are back on and the holes have been expertly filled. Everything else is original. It comes in the original brown Lifton case.
You'll note the tiny "2" stamped at the top of the back of the headstock, indicating it went back to the paint shop for a touchup.
Shipping to the buyer is on me in the conti US, unless the price and shipping costs are negotiated. The buyer has a 24 hour approval period. If there's an issue, or if you just feel it's not for you, you may return it for a full refund, less shipping costs. Buyer is responsible for maintaining the condition of the instrument and full insurance until it's delivered back to me.
