Check all the boxes with the Roland VAD516, the pinnacle of the V-Drums 5 Series, delivering the full presence, look, and feel of a traditional acoustic drum kit while integrating the cutting-edge flexibility and power of modern electronic drums. With full-depth wood shells, tension-adjustable mesh heads, and premium digital pads, this kit captures the subtleties of every stroke, from delicate ghost notes to aggressive rimshots. The PD-14DSX snare offers hand-position detection, cross-stick sensitivity, and LED feedback while the VH-14D digital hi-hats and CY-18DR ride cymbal provide natural open/closed articulation, bow/edge/bell response, and touch muting that organically captures every nuance of your playing. Complementing these are the KD-20-MS 20-inch kick drum and PDA series toms (10-inch, 12-inch, and 14-inch), which offer the rebound, tone, and feel of an acoustic kit with minimal noise for stage, studio, or home use.

The beating heart of the VAD516 is the V51 sound module, delivering flagship V-Drums tones with extensive customization, multi-layered drum sounds, and advanced coaching tools to hone your chops. USB-C multi-channel audio and MIDI connectivity ensure easy integration with DAWs and other software instruments, while Bluetooth support allows for streaming music and backing tracks. Wireless integration and smartphone app control provide instant access to kit expansions and settings, including Roland Cloud’s ever-growing library of premium instrument expansions.

Built to deliver the feel and responsiveness of a full acoustic kit with the convenience, connectivity, and flexibility of an electronic one, the VAD516 beckons you to find the sound in your head.
